Catholic Worker Hospitality House of San Bruno - Providing meals and shelter in San Bruno, California.

How to Help

We appreciate your help. We are seeking:

Volunteer Opportunities

Dining Room/Shelter

Our dining room and homeless shelter are located on the grounds of St. Bruno’s Catholic Church which is located at 555 W. San Bruno Ave., San Bruno. We strive to insure that all of our volunteers have a good experience. Please phone or email to schedule a time to volunteer.

Shelter Breakfast

Help to serve breakfast from 6:30 – 8:30 a.m., Monday – Friday mornings. Morning serving is a lively affair with 70 – 80 guests and 3-4 volunteers. We have existing volunteers, but are short-handed on a couple of days.

We could use help washing 1-2 baskets of dining room and shelter laundry once a week. Laundry consists of bath towels, hand towels and rags used at the dining room and shelter.
